Naples Area Real Estate Market ReportNaples Area Board of REALTOR® (NABOR®) released the January Market Report stating a remarkable 22% increase in closed sales compared to last year, with expectations for a strong first quarter. With a 26% decrease in January’s month-end inventory, there is still a 6.6 month supply of homes for Buyers to chose from as a Buyer’s market continutes. The $1-2 million single-family home market saw in a 20% increase last month over a year earlier. January’s price reductions represented 33% of active listings, much higher than prior months, indicating Sellers needed to price their homes correctly to sell in today’s market.
