Naples Area Real Estate Market Report – Naples Area Board of REALTOR® (NABOR®) released the March Market Report. Here are a few interesting statistics and comments:
- Inventory of homes is growing, up 20% in March compared to February
- Sales decreased 36.5% from a year ago as the overall number of available homes on the market remains low
- Median home prices were up nearly 40% compared to March 2021
- The number of new listings have risen since late last year, now at a level about the same as a year ago
- About a third of the homes for sale in March had price reductions as many were priced too high
- The trend to list $25,000 to $75,000 over comps is beginning to fade
